Stan Douglas talk at VAG

stanVancouver artist Stan Douglas, 2013 recipient of the Scotiabank Photography Award, speaks about his new work and critically renowned practice. After this illustrated artist talk, Douglas is joined by Residue curator Grant Arnold, Audain Curator of British Columbia Art, to talk about the film Luanda-Kinshas and this work’s relationship to the exhibition theme. Audience questions will follow.

This event is held in association with the exhibition Residue: The Persistence of the Real, opening at the Vancouver Art Gallery on June 12.
