Bud osborn obituary
The Globe and Mail quoted me for Bud’s obituary….but the best part? They called me a young poet…yes! I’m still young! I just needed G&M to tell me so…

Ok, trying not to freak out, but the Violent Femmes themselves just favourited a tweet Amber Dawn put up about this friday’s Violent Femmes Mashed Poetics. I feel like i’m holding hands with them a little bit. And then running away awkwardly. Yowsa!

Millay! Crane! MacCaig! Rilke! Whipple!
Thanks to organizers, readers and attendees for a great event. Learned a lot about all the dead poets featured! I even did my best attempt at dressing like Crane, who was a dapper fella (cf. pic in post below). I could rarely find a picture of him without a suit on (or at least a dress shirt…)!
Dead poets!
Excited to read as part of the Dead Poets series on July 13th! This series has living poets (hopefully) read the work of a non-living poet of their choice. I went with Hart Crane.
